Ahmad Dhani and Mulan Jameela Nyaleg For Candidate Pair of President and Vice President, Prabowo - Sandiaga Became President

Siaran Utama. Ahmad Dhani Prasetyo and Mulan Jameela both decided to go into politics to become legislative candidates or candidates from the Gerindra Party in the 2019 Election. They became candidates with a mission to win Prabowo Subianto as president in the 2019 Presidential Election.

The news of Mulan being a legislative candidate was later crowded in cyberspace. Mulan's white hooded photo and the number five name Mulan Jameela written on social media.

Dhani advanced candidates in the electoral district or East Java electoral district covering Surabaya and Sidoarjo. While Mulan advanced in the District Election XI West Java covering Garut Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency, and the City of Tasikmalaya.


"Surely we husband and wife help each other help, shoulder to shoulder," Dhani said in the South Jakarta District Court, Monday (10/12).

Dhani claimed to have no strategy in the campaign later. But the main call he will campaign with Mulan is to ask the community to choose Prabowo Subianto to become president.

He stressed that his participation in Pileg was to win Prabowo.

"Our strategy is to support Prabowo as president. We hope that they want Prabowo to become the president to vote for us. The only way for Gerindra to win with Prabowo is to cast our faces," Dhani said.

The musician couple has changed the name they have with a stage name that is better known to the public. Mulan who has the real name Raden Terry Tantri Wulansari has changed his name to Mulan Jameela.

While Dhani who has the name Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo has turned it into Ahmad Dhani Prasetyo.

"Already (change the name), I (became) Ahmad Dhani Prasetyo," Dhani said.

The 2019 legislative election will be held simultaneously with the 2019-2024 presidential election. The presidential election this time brought together the pair Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin as incumbent to fight with challenger Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno.

Jokowi's electability in a number of recent surveys is still superior to the challengers. The Prabowo-Sandi team later intended to focus on rocking the voice of Central Java which was dominated by PDIP to reap additional votes in the 2019 Presidential Election.
