PAN Refuses South Kalimantan Provincial Government to Support Jokowi-Ma'ruf

Kolom Aktual. The National Mandate Party (DPP) Council dismissed the Chairman of the PANW of South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan) Muhidin for supporting presidential candidate number 01 Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin.

PAN has officially carried the number 02 presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno.

PAN Deputy Chairperson Hanafi Rais said there was no communication carried out by Muhidin before declaring support for Jokowi-Ma'ruf. He claimed to know the support from the news.

The founding son of PAN, Amien Rais, stated that he had no need to give further appeal to the management or cadres related to support in the 2019 Presidential Election. According to Hanafi, his party would immediately give sanctions to cadres who were different from the party's decision.

Hanafi said his party immediately deactivated Muhidin because of the different attitude with the center. He mentioned that he would appoint another cadre to become the Acting Chairperson of the South Kalimantan Regional Representative Council.

"Yes (immediately deactivating the Chairperson of the South Kalimantan Regional Representative Council). Acting by another cadre," Hanafi said Monday (10/12).

He also ensured that there would be sanctions for the ranks of the board of the PANW South Kalimantan who declared support for Jokowi-Ma'ruf. According to Hanafi, all administrators and cadres must obey party decisions.

"Yes, surely there must be sanctions. The compliance of the board must be on the party's decision. Not obeying the wishes of others," he said

The support of the South Kalimantan DPW to the Jokowi-Ma'ruf pair was in the spotlight because previously similar support came from the 12 DPD PAN Board of Management in Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan, on Sunday 2 December. PAN itself is a bearer of the Prabowo-Sandiaga Uno pair.
